Tether: Human Connection Is Essential To Survival (2019)
Jesmonite, steel. 45 cm x 30 cm
A reflection on the need for connection, casts of the belly buttons of a postpartum mother and her first-born baby capture the first link to life and an ultimate separation that signals individuality, provoking questions surrounding the physical and emotional attachments we need and seek.
Willow Tree (2020)
Steel. 3 meters x 2.5 meters x 2.5 meters
With winding branches designed to bear the weight of a person, Willow Tree symbolizes the balance between individuality and community. A singular tree grows with the support of a larger system - roots, branches, leaves – creating a cycle where different but equally essential parts nurture the whole, which in turn develops the parts, and vice a versa.

Building Blocks (2020)
Wood, paint. 1.5 meters x 80 cm x 60 cm
Designed to form four, core shapes – an awards podium, stairs, a level platform, and a ramp - Building Blocks demonstrates how structures related to competition, accessibility, and equality offer or obstruct movement and can be reshaped with action. With the additional capability to be re-configured to construct new, abstract cityscapes, ideas of transformation through play can be explored.
